Foster Home Requirements:

Provide a safe, loving temporary home for rescue animals
Ensure foster animals receive necessary veterinary care (coordinated through rescue)
Keep foster animals separate from personal pets during initial quarantine period
Attend scheduled veterinary appointments and maintain medical records
Provide regular updates and photos to the rescue organization
Follow rescue policies regarding adoption meet-and-greets
Return foster animal to rescue if unable to continue fostering
Not adopt out or rehome foster animals without rescue approval

Rescue Organization Responsibilities:

Cover all veterinary expenses for foster animals
Provide food, supplies, and necessary equipment (or reimbursement)
Provide support and guidance to foster families
Handle all adoption processes and screening
Maintain liability insurance for foster program
